"I don't know where to begin! We knew this band would be fantastic when we first heard them at Aroma - and they were the only band we saw that my husband actually danced to! The music decision was important to us and knew they would make the wedding a success. But it was even better than imaginable! "I was referred to The Honeymooners by a friend. What a fantastic band! Scott is extremely responsive and was on top of everything. "Prior to my engagement, my husband and I would love to go out and listen to The Honeymooners  whenever they were playing in downtown Buffalo. The music was always fantastic – fun, energetic with a flare of old school songs you love to dance to. After our engagement, as we were planning our wedding, it was a no brainer that we wanted The Honeymooners  to play at our wedding. I contacted Scott about 8 months prior to our wedding to start the planning process - which was about 6 months more time than necessary ;). But right away, Scott sent me a list of songs to choose from. He also was sure to let me know I could give him a short list of songs that weren’t included on his list that were important to my husband and I to play at the wedding. He was willing to review the songs with his band and learn them for the wedding – songs like “Havin’ a Party” by Rod Stewart, “Footloose” by Kenny Loggins and “Dancing in the Moonlight”. It was phenomenal!

 

The song list he sent was extensive; there were so many songs to choose from! We picked out about 25 or so songs from the list and added about 6 of our own. I sent our song list to Scott and outlined all my crazy bride details of song order; time frames etc and he truly took every detail seriously and wanted to ensure he had every request attended for. During the planning process (and every bride can contend to this) it is imperative that vendors respond back to emails, phone calls etc ASAP so the planning can flow seamlessly. Scott would always make it priority to get back to me right away – regardless of the means of communication. We also met a few times in person to plan things and discuss details. Scott truly made every effort possible to ensure that everything on our wedding day would be perfect – and it really was.

 

We had the entire 6-piece band at the wedding. From the second the band started playing (1st song was a rendition of “Sweet Home Alabama” and “All Summer Long”) people went crazy! Each and every band member gave the entire performance their all – people danced the night away. At any given point in the night, the dance floor was packed. Our reception vendor even said, and I quote “I have never coordinated a reception where every guest was on the dance floor before this one”! Between Scott (lead singer) the keyboardis t , guitarists and the sax player…you had everything you could possibly need or want.  These guys are so talented and were just so great to us and our guests; the energy level was incredible all night long (3 hrs)!

 

Although this is testimonial is quite long – I don’t think I could ever say enough good things. The band was absolutely amazing and Scott was awesome to work with. The band is flexible and willing to accommodate anything and everything the bride (and groom) want. Guests of my wedding are STILL talking about the music 6 months later. I’ve been to a few weddings since my own and nothing compares. The Honeymooners’  music is different, and not your typical wedding music which is so refreshing and your guests will LOVE it. My grandparents (in their late 70’s) didn’t get off the dance floor once. It is music everyone will absolutely love.
